Rector: The Very Rev Ian Barcroft

Ian has been our Rector for 13 years. He is interested in the link between church and the wider community. He is actively involved in the work of several charities, the Diocese and Province. Ian was appointed Dean of the Diocese in April 2010.

Assistant Priest: Rev Prof. David Jasper

David is a distinguished academic theologian at Glasgow University.  He is actively involved in post modern theology and is Changjiang Chair Professor of Renmin University of China. He is developing Arts Chaplaincy in Scotland and is the Convener of the SEC Doctrine Committee.

 

 

Assistant Priest: Rev John Macleod

John was ordained priest in September 2008. He is a also a solicitor with a legal firm in Glasgow. He is interested in Franciscan spirituality, the worship of the Taizé community and supporting inter-faith dialogue in Lanarkshire.

Organist & Choirmaster: David Hamilton

David teaches at the RSAMD in Glasgow and at the Music School of Douglas Academy. He is a specialist organist and has made several recordings and performed in Europe and the USA. He has recently over seen the commissioning of  Strathclyde University’s Barony Church Organ built in Austria.
