We are currently developing a wider partnership of support for the Casa Abba Project involving churches across Scotland. In December 2008 we sent £3250 to help the work of Robert and Silvana Meikle. (pictured above).

In July 2005 6 teenagers and four adults visited Sao Paulo. We are hoping to visit again in 2010 with a new group.

 

Since September 2004 we have raised over £20,000.

 

Kirsty Plummer visited the project in September 2007 and is currently leading our support plans.

 

Roy and Ann Gordon introduced the work of ABBA, Associato Brasileira Aslan. This is a Christian Rescue House for the street children of Sao Paulo.

 

Children between 7 and 13 years are encouraged not to leave the favelas and live as street children. They are given help with their families in home schooling and by home visits.

Hello from Brasil, and a Happy New Year to everyone!! 

At our annual Christmas Party, we had around eighty people (children and their parents) with us.  We were able to use the Elohim House again, which was really good.  The children love the space to run around, play and swim in a safe environment.

Thank you all for your prayer and support during this year.  Without you (and God of course!) behind us, none of this could have happened.  Continue praying for the children here in Brazil and that they become true disciples, and followers of Jesus.

Keep on praying for the house in Jd. Sao Jorge.  We are still very optimistic, and believe that things are going to happen soon.  If it is within God’s will, it will happen, and we will be able to reach many more children, but we need your help!
